Just an hour\u2019s drive from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oasis-verdon.com\/en\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"73\">L\u2019Oasis du Verdon campground<\/a>, the Blanc-Martel Trail is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful hikes in France. It\u2019s a feast for the eyes from start to finish!  <\/p><\/div><div class=\"columns\"><div class=\"columns__item\"><h2>The History of <span class=\"fc-span\">the Sentier Blanc-Martel<\/span><\/h2><p    >The Martel Trail is a mix of tunnels, aerial ladders, breathtaking views into the void, and towering vertical cliffs. Equipped by the <strong>Touring Club de France<\/strong> in 1926, it crosses a vertical gorge via 80 meters of metal stairs leading up to the Maline chalet.   <\/p><p    >In fact, the original trail is located below the mountain hut and was traveled by <strong>\u00c9douard Alfred Martel and Isidore Blanc in 1905.<\/strong> Several adventurers joined him on this wonderful adventure.<\/p><div class=\"lireplus fc-desk\"><p    >Read more<\/p><div class=\"group\"><div class=\"group\"><p    >As a result, some descendants of these explorers still live in the area. The trail consists of <strong>five main sections<\/strong>, ranging from the easiest to the most challenging. These include the Baumes F\u00e8res and Pr\u00e9 d\u2019Issane loop, La Mescla and the Br\u00e8che Imbert, L\u2019Escal\u00e8s, and the Samson Corridor tunnels. For the more adventurous, <strong>La Mescla and L\u2019Escal\u00e8s<\/strong> offer two magnificent trails that take about 4 hours. During an excursion, you\u2019ll see the bridge on the left bank, where you can go bungee jumping. Finally, for the most experienced hikers, <strong>the Samson Corridor tunnels<\/strong> offer a 6-hour hike. Along the way, you\u2019ll reach the <strong>Tresca\u00efre Towers lookout point. Shortly <\/strong>after that, you\u2019ll come to the series of tunnels. The answer to this question is quite simple! Just contact the transportation service offered by <strong>the Verdon Regional Nature Park.<\/strong>   <\/p><p  style=\"text-align: right;\"  >Since the trail is not a loop, <strong>the Blanc-Martel shuttle<\/strong> allows you to travel between the starting and ending points without having to use a car.
