Every Wednesday and Saturday morning, Place Frédéric Mistral comes alive and bursts into colour as it hosts the Provençal market of Aups, just a few minutes from our Verdon campsite, L’Oasis du Verdon.
A pleasant 300-metre pedestrian path connects the campsite directly to the heart of the market, making access particularly convenient, especially on busy days when parking in the village can be difficult. It is the perfect place to stock up on flavours, local produce and typical Provençal souvenirs.

As soon as the sun brushes the cobblestones of the narrow streets, the market awakens in a cheerful and welcoming atmosphere. Stallholders set up their stands with passion, revealing the treasures of the local terroir: sun-ripened fruit, fragrant spices, delicately matured goat’s cheeses with authentic Provençal flavours, artisan cured meats, fresh fish, colourful, lightweight clothing perfect for sunny days in Aups, plants that tell the story of Provence, and much more.
Beneath the colourful canopies, the scents of lavender, basil and PDO olive oil mingle with the lively, melodic voices of the traders. Every stall becomes an invitation to discover, every product tells a story.

Let your senses guide you:

The Aups market promotes short supply chains, seasonal produce and sustainable practices. By supporting local producers, you contribute to a responsible economy and help preserve the landscapes of the Verdon.
