Is the campground ideally located for visiting Lake Sainte-Croix and the Verdon Gorges?
Yes, our campground is ideally located for exploring all areas of the Verdon. We’re less than a quarter of an hour from Bauduen by car, 25 minutes from the Hautes Gorges (left bank, Aiguines side), 25 minutes from the Basses Gorges (Quinson), and 25 minutes from the Pont de Galetas, the iconic entrance to the Gorges du Verdon. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy the lake, the panoramic views, and outdoor activities.
Is the village of Aups easily accessible from the campground?
Yes, a direct walking path takes you to the center of Aups in just 300 meters. You can reach the market, restaurants, shops, and all amenities without having to drive. We are the only campground in Aups to offer this convenient access.
Can we go hiking right from the campground?
Yes, there are three hiking trails that start right at the campground—no car needed. This is a real advantage for enjoying nature and the landscapes of the Haut-Var and Verdon regions as soon as you step out of your accommodations. Once again, we’re the only campground in Aups to offer trailheads right on-site.
Is the campground quiet and family-friendly?
Yes, L’Oasis du Verdon is an intimate campground, beloved for its peaceful, natural, and friendly atmosphere. It’s the perfect place for families, couples, and anyone looking for a rejuvenating getaway in Provence.
What services and amenities does the campground offer?
You can enjoy a heated pool, the Les Terrasses restaurant, a bar, a playground, light entertainment, a small grocery store, and Wi-Fi. Everything is designed to ensure a comfortable, simple, and pleasant stay.
Wi-Fi is a paid service, but it works throughout the campground with good speed for watching a movie or working online.
Are dogs allowed at the campground?
Yes, dogs are welcome (except for regulated categories 1 and 2) in all our rentals and on the campsites. Our campground currently holds the Qualidog certification—2 truffles—and we have already made the necessary improvements to earn 3 truffles starting next season. Dogs must simply be kept on a leash within the campground grounds and respect everyone’s peace and quiet.
Is the campground affiliated with VACAF, and do you accept ANCV vacation checks?
We are not VACAF-approved, but we are happy to accept ANCV and ANCV Connect vacation checks as payment for your stay.
