You’re planning to stay at Camping L’Oasis du Verdon with your family and you’re worried you won’t have fun? We can guarantee that’s impossible. First of all, you should know that we offer a fantastic entertainment programme right in the heart of our campsite. On top of that, the Gorges du Verdon are a dream holiday destination for anyone who wants to enjoy plenty of activities and discover must-see places.
The Verdon is full of charming and unusual little villages that are well worth a visit. One of the most famous is Moustiers Sainte Marie, which looks as if it’s hanging in mid-air, clinging to the cliffs. This village has something truly special, even in rainy weather. Many art shops are waiting for you there. Also discover the village of Rougon and its ruined castle.
Located near Lake Quinson, just 27 minutes from L’Oasis du Verdon, this museum retraces 1 million years of Provençal prehistory. Your children will love the reconstruction of Neolithic dwellings. You can also watch a modern show featuring computer-generated images, exploring the history of humankind.

Do you enjoy walking? If so, you’re in for a treat – it’s one of the best ways to discover the beauty of the PACA region. Between April and late November, follow the Route de la Crête and explore spectacular cliffside trails stretching over 15 km. One of the most child-friendly hikes is the Belvédère de Rancoumas.
Between activities, cool off by the Lake Sainte-Croix and swim at one of the nearby developed beaches. The beaches of Margaridon and Bauduen are supervised during the summer season and are perfect for a refreshing family getaway.

Reaching the largest canyon in Europe and not enjoying it would be a real shame, even if you’re only a beginner when it comes to canyoning and rafting. The adventure is guaranteed to be wet, but above all unforgettable. Please note, however, that these activities are suitable for children aged 6 and over.
Fans of climbing and via ferrata will also find one of the best playgrounds in France in the Verdon, with more than 1,500 routes dedicated to these activities.
And for those who want even more adrenaline during their holiday, there’s bungee jumping from the highest bridge on the continent: the Artuby Bridge. Your children will need to be at least 15 years old to share this experience with you.

In addition to walking, kayaking and other activities, you can also explore the Verdon by bike. It may be one of the best ways to make sure you don’t miss anything in this beautiful part of France, where lush greenery and turquoise waters blend perfectly. More than twenty developed mountain bike trails are waiting for you.
What could be more magical than soaring through the sky with your family, alongside the birds? This type of activity will leave a lasting memory for children aged 6 and over. They’ll be amazed as they glide near the clouds and admire the Gorges du Verdon and Lake Sainte-Croix from above.
