The route through the Grand Canyon of Verdon takes a total of 5 days. During this getaway, you will have the opportunity to visit iconic places such as the Verdon Gorge, Lake Sainte-Croix, Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, and Sillans-la-Cascade.
The adventure begins on the ridge road. This crossing leads you to the Verdon Regional Natural Park, overlooking the river of the same name. During this first stage, you can admire the Pont de la Mariée up close. The second stage of the route is entirely dedicated to discovering the Balcons de la Mescla. Once there, enjoy a fascinating natural spectacle and take in the beauty of the valley, rising 500 metres above the river.
Visiting Trigance marks the third stage of our journey. This village is the perfect place to go canoeing. It is also highly sought-after by hikers. Our adventure then reaches the Route des Crêtes, which is the fourth stop on the itinerary. Along this road, you can take a break at the Chalet des Malines before arriving in Palud. Provence lovers may even come across local farmers working the fertile plots of land – a unique experience, especially for those coming from large cities. Arriving in Moustiers-Sainte-Marie will mark the final stage of our trip. Known as the capital of faience pottery, this town is an unmissable highlight of the Grand Canyon of Verdon.
