You should also visit Gréoux-les-Bains. One of the region’s must-sees is the village of Saint-Martin-de-Brômes. The main attraction in this Provençal village is the Gallo-Roman museum. History enthusiasts can admire rare pieces uncovered during excavations carried out in 1992 (including a 4th-century sarcophagus). Nearby, you can explore the mysterious Buffe Arnaud oppidum, ideal for hiking.
At Lake Esparron, you can enjoy swimming at wild and tranquil beaches. The Saint Julien beach is close to the village of Gréoux les Bains. It is accessible on foot, with about 500 metres to walk to reach it. About half an hour away, you can discover Île du Barbu. Reachable by electric boat, you’ll fall in love with its calanques and meadows. This hidden gem offers stunning natural scenery and beaches with turquoise waters. If you decide to explore Quinson, you can also swim near the bridge. For family trips, note that Artignosc beach is perfectly equipped to welcome children.
Lake Esparron is a place perfect for watersports, a must during your stay at a campsite near Esparron. It stands out for its calm waters, so even beginners can try sailing. Several watersports clubs offer options tailored to both adults and children. For a true escape, you can rent an electric boat. It’s also worth knowing that motorboats are prohibited in order to protect the lake from pollution. This allows you to discover the wonders surrounding this charming place and admire the natural richness of this little corner of paradise. You can also head to the Gorges du Verdon by pedal boat or canoe. For a memorable experience, consider taking a guided boat trip aboard the Perle du Verdon. This electric boat offers visitors one-hour cruises. The journey starts in Esparron and continues all the way to the Gorges de Quinson.
