According to the World Tourism Organization¹, a gastronomic getaway can include culinary experiences, visits to local producers, and participation in festivals and cooking classes, helping to promote the traditions and culinary authenticity of the regions visited. Does this approach align with your idea of a holiday? Then do not limit yourself to discovering the landscapes of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region during your stay at our camping in the Verdon! Discover a land of flavor, where Verdon gastronomy expresses itself deliciously.
Verdon gastronomy has its origins in an ancient history, deeply rooted in the region’s pastoral and agricultural traditions², specific to Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur. Lavender honeys and wild herbs are among the living witnesses to the richness of this local biodiversity.
Influenced by Provençal cuisine, this gastronomy combines simplicity with authentic flavors. Today, the Verdon highlights this culinary heritage through quality labels and local markets, perpetuating age-old know-how.
