Aiguines Castle

In the heart of the Verdon Regional Natural Park, Aiguines Castle towers over Lake Sainte-Croix with its majestic silhouette.

A former medieval bastide restored in the early 17th century in Renaissance style, the building is now privately owned. Notable for its solid square structure, softened by four corner towers, the Chateau d’Aiguines has been beautifully restored. Its glazed tile roof from Moustiers-Sainte-Marie makes it stand out from afar when viewed from the shores of Lake Sainte-Croix.

The castle is not open to visitors, but the site offers spectacular panoramic views well worth the trip.
