The ideal site for the practise of water sports. During the summer, the Sainte-Croix lake is supervised by lifeguards. Besides swimming, you can also explore the biggest lake of the Verdon (2200 ha) by boat. For environment reasons, motor boats are prohibited. Electrical and sailing boats are allowed. The various water sports centres hire kayaks, canoes, electrical boats, pedal boats, surf bikes, etc.. You can also take sailing lessons.
The Sainte Croix Lake is the largest of all the Verdon and is ideally located between the Mediterranean and the Alps. This geographical situation allows a diversity of landscapes and reliefs but also possible activities. Of course, the activities to be tested in priority are the nautical activities. The area of the lake of 2200 hectares allows it to offer a very wide range including walks by electric boat or sail. Gasoline engines are prohibited here to preserve the purity of the place. There are several water sports around Lake St. Croix and it is possible to rent kayaks, canoes and even take classes. These nautical activities are ideal for communing with nature, to enjoy the outdoors and make the most of all the possibilities offered by Lake Sainte Croix and its surroundings.
